Today we discussed with Phil our idea for the FMP. After a discussion we released our documentary had no real reason behind that particular theme.

After a group discussion we came to the conclusion that instead of focusing on music we would focus on gaming considering as a group there us more of a collective interest. Our new question is "how have video games changed in the last 30 years?" this will be us looking at all the key gaming consoles and the effect they have had. As a basis we are considering pitching the idea as a series due to the broadness. We are also considering breaking the theme down even more and focusing on just handheld consoles or one companies journey so far as contigency plans.

First meeting

This morning we finalised our group, it's now me, Alex, Matthew Neve and Ben. For our documentary we have decided to look at the decline of the music industry. It will be an opinionated documentary similiar to 9/11 using satire as well. It will be our view on how the music industry has changed from creative and ever changing to repetitive and false performers. We will use Mat Neve to present and keep the documentary moving. We want to get lots of peoples opinions on the music that is in the charts out the moment compared to older charts.
